I was skeptical at first; I was concerned because it said cordless. After purchasing it, I loved it. I only wish it had a thermostat adjusting knob. The dishes were hot for up to 4 hours unplug. I got lots of complements from my guest and family. It was the focus of the party. The finish stainless steel look and the solid weight of it worth ever penny. I told everyone I purchased it online from Amazon.

I bought one of these Oct 2009. It stopped working after 18 months (power and ready lights come on but no heat generated). Which seems pretty poor service life for such a simple device. Also, contrary to Amazon's web page the warranty is for only 1 year.

I have only used this once, but it was great at keeping the food warm during a large family dinner. I love the idea that there is no cord in the way as there are lots of little ones running around. Great buy.
