This knife falls a little short where Moras are concerned. It has the typical quality (very high), but its features are not entirely to my liking.

The sheath features a leather loop for your belt, instead of the more-familiar plastic loop. The simplicity of the plastic sheath is great. It won't mold and you can throw it in your dishwasher if it gets dirty. The leather does not provide those benefits. The leather is also not as stiff, and I find drawing the knife one-handed a little harder.

The knife's handle is the same shape front and back, so in the dark there's no way to tell which way the blade's edge is facing. For a survival knife, that's a problem. The Mora Bushcraft series has handles with a small finger guard on the front. You can feel it easily.

The blade has more belly and less point than my other Moras. It would not be quite so useful for piercing things (like if you're trying to field-dress game). The blade is also thinner than on the Bushcraft knives. I'd worry about bending this one if it were used hard. It isn't likely, but it's possible.

The only really good point I can make about this knife is that it will fit in the sheath with the edge turned either way, so if you are left-handed it might be a good choice.

This is a Mora, and that means it's a great and useful knife. But for the money, there are better Moras.

I have been using my Mora 2000 knife for several real outdoor tasks and I am very pleased with its performance. It is not designed to be a choppin' axe or a crowbar, nor is it touted to be. I have and use "muscle" knives that baton, chop and dig dirt well, but they do not give the fine slicing and woodcrafting performance that the Mora does. The Mora stainless steel has a track record of giving more than its price would cause you to expect. The blade grind gave me a headache when I tried to figger' it out, but a 3-piece suit makes me dizzy. They both work well ,so,...Hey?!
The knife comes with an edge finer than frog hair split down the middle and curled 3 ways , and it seems to keep the edge well. The knife has been compared to a kitchen knife. The kitchen butcher knife has historically done more "backwoods cuttin" than any other knife design used by our "real" woodsman ancestors, despite what Hollywood says. Iffn' yore ugly like me, them fancy cutters don't match well anyhoo!
Get one and rattle it in an' out of that plastic sheath and cut some stuff, and it will be just as "cut" as with any other light weight knife.
If it fits your job description let it follow you home.

This is my new favorite bushcraft/camping knife. Beautiful design, sharp blade, feels good in the hand. This is the one that I will now carry on my outdoor trips.

I also bought the 860 and 840 Mora knives. I will always keep one in my suitcase for when I travel.

Love those Swedish knives. Hard to beat for the price...
